City Development Index

The City Development Index is based on three main domains (social, economic, and cultural) and their sub-dimensions. In other words, the formation of the index focuses on the three basic domains of city life. These three domains correspond to the three main structures upon which all cities throughout history have been built and which ensure the continuity of a city’s social reality. In addition, these three basic domains also have their own dimensions. Ideally, urban development basically depends on the harmony among these three elements and the balanced distribution of their measurable sub-indicators. The City Development Index 30 cities in Turkey and 55 cities in the world.

Marine Propulsion Aided by Coanda Effect

This project comprises the geometric evaluation of turbulent, steady-state, two-dimensional, and incompressible flows over the Coanda effect-based H.O.M.E.R. (High-Speed Orienting Momentum with Enhanced Reversibility) nozzle. The main purpose is to evaluate the influence of the central septum insertion (P) and change in dimensionless mass flow rate between two inlets (m*) over the deflection angle of the mixed jet (α), velocity fields (V), and thrust forces per unit length (F) at the nozzle exit. The time-averaged conservation equations of mass and momentum have been solved using the Finite Volume Method for all simulations.

ILKE Publication System (IYS)

It is getting more and more difficult to manually manage the processes of journals, congresses and books at the ILKE Foundation and its organizations, the quality and number of which increase daily. In addition, following up on the processes sometimes sees human-based slowdowns and errors occur. In this context, the ILKE Publication System has been developed to manage all the processes in the journal, congress, and book studies ILKE and its institutions carry out.

Smart Cities Maturity Model

With the Istanbul Smart City Maturity Model, which was developed by taking into account İstanbul’s historical and current characteristics, a basic perspective on the smart city was formed based on examples from the world and international standards. The model was built upon İstanbul’s unique structure and outlines the interaction and mobility-based maturity model. With the integrated view it creates, this model makes it possible to multidimensionally view the city’s characteristics, thus offering city administrators the opportunity to determine an appropriate perspective by determining the steps in the transformation into a smart city.

ILKE Information System (IBS)

This is a comprehensive information system prepared for the students and members of the ILKE Science Culture and Education Foundation and its associations (ILEM, YEKDER and IGIAD). In addition to course follow-up, the ILKE Information System carries out information and communication processes related to all activities of the relevant institutions, such as programming and reporting regarding courses, saving and updating people’s contact information in the system, and group work. İLKE Information System consists of six sections: Users, Courses, Definitions, Communication System, Classrooms and Reports, and each section has its own sub-sections.

The Atlas of Islamic Thought

The Atlas of Islamic Thought (IDA) is a web-based project for introducing the tradition of Islamic thought through the system-founding philosophers, theologians, and mystics who lived between the 7th-20th centuries (2nd-14th AH) by taking into account the variables of time, place, doctrine, and school of thought. IDA enables novel views on the history of Islamic thought by inviting an understand of the history of thought through the past that conveys it, the texts that transmit it, the personal and conceptual networks that form it, the institutions and structures that materialize it, and lastly the geographical and cultural enclaves that host it.
